Not just a race! Wear your craziest wig or hair style. Prizes for the craziest style! A 5K race that will take place on the Heart of Iowa Trail. Route and details to be determined. Everyone who pre-registers by July 6th, will get a free t-shirt when they check in. Ages 11 and over.

PRE-REGISTRATION

• Registration for the 5K is $25.

• Use the link below to register for the event.

• If you register by July 6th your entry includes a t-shirt with the above logo on it.

• If you registered by July 6th, your shirt will be given to you the day of the event at check-in.

• You can register the day of the event for $25 however you will not get the free t-shirt.

• Those who do not show up for the event to pick-up their shirt will be able to collect them through Sunday at 4 PM from the beer garden. Those not claimed will be sold to other participants.

5K LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE FOR 5K PARTICIPATION

By participating in the Maxwell Old Settlers 5K, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the 5K involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other accidents.

I voluntarily assume all such risks.

Waiver of Liability: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Maxwell Old Settlers Steering Committee Inc., its officers, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action that may arise from or be related to my participation in the 5K, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and defend the Maxwell Old Settlers Steering Committee Inc. from any claims or damages arising out of my participation.

Permission to Use Images: I grant permission for photographs, videos, and other media taken during the 5K to be used for promotional or archival purposes without compensation.

Health and Fitness: I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the 5K.

By proceeding with my registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this liability waiver. Registration form will ask age and gender for registration purposes.
